One day, she saw it. She figured it had probably been there longer than even he had known. He had always held her hand a little too tight. He had never forgotten her birthdays, he even kissed her in front of his parents. But that day it was there, she was certain. All the things you see, that you can't do a damn thing about. A damn thing, a damn thing. So she choose to close her eyes, and leave him where he was. He was still, she was on her way into grey clouds. The grey clouds would be what would save him a painful construction of words. To throw that construction at her love, and then leave her to her tears. She knew he couldn't handle that, so she broke up with herself for him.
